Janet M. Letourneau, M.B.A., CPBA; President of Peak Performers, Inc. will present at the Human Resources Management Association of Rhode Island breakfast meeting on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at the Radisson in Warwick.
Janet’s topic is “Are you leading or managing?” This excerpt taken from the 3-hour module will meet the following objectives for those who attend: An understanding of how others define leaders; an understanding of how others feel working under great leadership; some of the key differences between leading & managing will be discussed; and a short survey to measure performance differences will be taken. As Letourneau, says: “There is a clear difference between managing day-to-day activities and leading your team to success.”
The Human Resource Management Association of Rhode Island was formed to promote effective, value-added, professional human resources practices and to provide members with a wide variety of professional development opportunities and a networking forum.
